Playing bruiser Kha'Zix is a little different then how he was designed to be played. Normally, as an assassin, Kha'zix is supposed to jump into a team fight and finish off any enemies on low health. A Bruiser, on the other hand, is played by rushing into a fight and dealing as much damage as possible.
Can also build hydra for insane omnivamp. Conqueror build is pretty versatile but you're going to want Eclipse for mythic. The build is still super strong! I'm having great sucess, ever since i swapped to bruiser kha. You really aren't reliant on the huge heals from pre nerf goredrinker at all actually. Just as survivable as bruiser Kha'Zix if you position right (probably more), does more damage than lethality Kha'Zix. The only reason people don't play this way and abuse Hullbreaker is because no one has told them to yet and the overwhelming majority of players don't think for themselves. Bruiser kha can stall fights with R evolve and a large hp bar, he can still 1 shot squishies, he can provide constant slows with his 4 sec cd W evolve, and he can 1v1 almost any meta jg with conq/gore. Assassin kha has one advantage in that it has a better earlygame which means that in a snowball situation you may find more kills with early dirks.
Divine sunderer - Another option for conqueror bruiser Kha'Zix (or phase rush). I only got to test it 4 times, when they had 3 or 4 high hp enemies. Combined with conqueror and the extra 5%armour on each legendary you melt tanks.
That would limit league to ~20champs tho. You will want to take R evolve asap to gank easier and escape easily, Q evolve is good early game however once you get 40% cooldown it is not as useful, E evolve is good to get early if you have a few kills.This is the most standard OG way of playing kha'zix. Kha, Zed, Rengar, Talon, Shaco, Reksai are underperforming with lethality builds. Shaco is going AP, Rengar is building dusk then crit to stay relevant. The pattern is no one is building 3+ item lethality because they are trash. too expensive/too useless/not enough stats. To make lethality first item work, everyone goes crit or bruiser at 3rd item.

Bruiser Kha has a very interesting role that honestly no other champ can provide. W Evolve is the core of the build (aoe ranged slows on low CD), together with R / E for safety and your high-ish survivability you are super good at kiting in and out and generating space for your team. Rengar get's in, assassinates, dies or get help to clean up. Khazix is just easier Rengar for the most part. way easier to execute too.
