Nov 30, 2019 · Hello folks. I am new the forum and need some help. I bought a 2006 500 carb ranger. It all of the sudden stopped running while my father in law was driving it. It ran fine before. It cranks over fine, has compression, has spark. I pulled off the fuel line to carb and turned it over and plenty of fuel supply. It's fuel injected and you can jump across the solenoid and it will turn over that way but it's not firing and I'm getting power to the solenoid when you turn the key but it won't turn over and I replaced the solenoid along with a programmable ecm that's a plug in play ecm. R.Other option is to remove the entire clutch and housing but that is a ton of work and many members here have changed the starter without doing that.
